Brief Update
I called the Endo office again today to see what the status is for the PA for the RAIU test... still pending but in review now at least. Did find out that the PA wasn't even submitted until Dec 3rd, a week later than it should have been. No wonder this is taking so long damnit! I hate when people lie to me.
In other news, I go in for a therapy intake session tomorrow morning. Unsure how I really feel about this since I have never had 'real' therapy before. Bonus is that it is at an office that normally helps children so I am hoping they have fish tanks and Highlights magazines :P
This week is going to be busy! Today we did laundry, tomorrow is therapy intake appt, an evening outing and then house sitting in the country. Wed plans are coming back into town by 2 pm and then helping a friend with first acupuncture appt and HOPEFULLY turkey dinner. Thur we had thought about going up to Portland for some holiday shopping and such but will have to see how my energy holds up. If my PA is approved I will take the first test slot they have open so I can get as free of radiation as possible before friends come up for the holidays.
Overall I still feel crazy with not having a diagnosis yet. All my labs point to one thing (pituitary tumor) yet we keep doing every test but the MRI to rule it out. Maybe they just want to make me really crazy so the peer review articles they will eventually write about me are even better :P Drama sells right?
