Dreams.
Loves.
Races.
Money.
Large ones and small ones. Huge, enormous, take-everything-you've-got ones, and fiddling, piddling, is-it-even-a-real-thing? ones.
It's "I'm deciding on the spur of the moment that, despite not knowing anyone there and not having a plan, that I'm going to move to New York!"
vs.
"I'm going to live the life that is expected of me and nothing beyond that."
It's "I just spoke to this dude two hours ago and I've missed him every minute since then!"
vs.
"Yeah, he text me about three weeks ago, so I'll probably reply within the next few days and maybe then we'll arrange another date"
It's "I am going to run all the way up this mountain!"
vs.
"Well, I started, but after running three steps I fell over, and was really out of breath, so I'm not going to run anymore."
It's "I'm going to throw every spare penny I've got at this for as long as it takes, and then I can get [what I want]"

"Well, I'd never be able to make it to that so I may as well not bother."
