"Truthiness.

Now I'm sure some of the "word police" over at websters are gonna say "HEY! thats not a word!". Well, anyone that knows me knows that I'm no fan of dictionaries and reference books. They're Elitist! Constantly telling us what is or isn't true and what did or didn't happen. Who's Brittanica to tell me that the Panama Canal was finished in 1914? If I wanna say that it happend in 1941 that's my right. I don't trust books. They're all fact. No heart. And that's exactly what's pulling our country apart today. Because face it folks, we are a divided nation. Not between democrats and republicans, or conservatives and liberals or tops and bottoms... noooo. We are divided by those that think with their heads and those who know in there heart. Consider Harrriot Myers. If you THINK about Harriot Myers of course her nomination is absurd. But the president didn't say he "thought" about his selection he said this: "I know her heart". Notice how he didn't say something about her brain? He didn't have to. He FEELS the truth about Harriot Myers. And what about Iraq? Sure, if you THINK about it, maybe there are a few missing pieces for the rationale for war, but doesn't taking saddam out FEEL like the right thing? Right here, right here in the gut? Because thats where the truth comes from, the gut. Do you know you have more nerve endings in your stomach then in your head? Look it up. Now somebody's gonna say "I did look that up and it's wrong!" Well mister, thats because you looked it up in a book. Next time, try looking it up in your gut. I did and my gut tells me that's how are nervous system works. Now, I know some of you may not trust your gut, yet. But with my help, you will. The truthiness is: anyone can READ the news TO you...I promise to FEEL the news AT you."

I love you Steven Colbert.

Hey Steph, shouldn't you be writing your exam instead of posting a piece from a TV show on your Live Jouranl?

Fuck you, brain. Fuck you.
