What a difference 364 days make
"This time, last year" was a topic of discussion over dinner last week, and it's had me thinking about it ever since.
This time, last year - LSEPP was trying to manipulate his way back into my life. It almost worked too! Very scary. Now, I have my Virgo. He alone makes the biggest difference in my life.
I was spending way too much time in bars and clubs. Don't get me wrong, I still go out, but it's not an every weekend necessity or want. Not to mention "Wednesdays" and the random Tuesdays or Thursdays. Some of that I do miss. I miss knowing that I was going to see the whole group at least once a week. We've all gotten very busy it seems. There are a few people that I still catch up with and that makes me happy. Somehow, we just need to find a way to make time every so often. [I need my C time! We have a pitcher to make use of!] Plus, due to my Virgo there have been very wonderful additions to the people I spend time with. :)
I no longer work in a over stressed filled enviroment where the screaming was a constant. My industry carries enough stress on it's own without dealing with my psycho ex-boss. New boss keeps an even tone even when he may be less than pleased at me (always for being late). Setting up this company from scratch has been stressful enough. I just know that once it's completely done, I will be well situated.
My living enviroment has changed. This puts a damper on my abby's outdoor habits, but he is adjusting well. I only have to chase him down out the door once a week now.
Next year, I will let them slice open my foot and fix the dislocation. But, that is next year so I can't comment on health.
I have a feeling that next years changes will be even more than I am anticipating. I am looking forward to it.
I'll still be making my wickerman to throw in a fire somewhere. I hope this little tradition will never go away.
