I am sitting in a Starbucks while I wait for my car to get new tires. At least there is A/C and free wi-fi. I would have liked to have had a real breakfast, but I guess this classic coffee cake will have to do.
It's costing me just under $300 to get new tires, I just spent $150 on a new radiator, and I still have to get a new timing belt which will cost about $330 in parts and labor. Hopefully nothing will break on my car for a couple years now. I understand that it's 8 years old, and shit starts to die, but I have decided on moving and all my money needs to go into savings rather than being spent on a new car.
I had quite the dream about Jamie last night. It was far more realistic than most dreams I have, and usually when I have realistic dreams, they don't particularly end well. This one was actually nice, though dream Jamie repeated some of the things real Jamie said the last time so I woke up in a weird mood. Not a bad mood, just kind of weird.
I pulled Lori up on the bed last night. I think she misses being able to spend all her time just sleeping on it. She still gets really hyper and has spurts of energy, and she is doing a lot better than when she had Valley Fever real bad, but she's never gonna be able to get on or off the bed again without me doing it for her. I think I might let her sleep up there more often. It's not like I don't have the room.
