The Green Eyed Monster of Server Firsts
So about 4:45 am Saturday Morning I lucked out majorly and found my BM hunter hovering over the rare spawn of Skoll. So what do I do. Land, Scan around, open call stable pet, Remove tank pet. Abandon. Drop Trap, Tame.
So after taming it dawns on me that in the few days since the Patch's release. I have -yet- to see any Hunter sporting this pet around. So I hop over to Dalaran, giddy as heck and ask around if anyone's tamed the rare spawn. No one answers except for the usual folks who suggest going to the forums.
So I go over to my realm forums and ask.......then play the waiting game.
So Far no one Horde or Alliance outside of my Blood Elf Hunter Altier has actually TAMED the new spirit beast! This made me super excited because ever since finding about the original spirit beast I have yet to tame anything "cool" or "new" first on my realm, whether by luck or by just what ever it might be. How ever to somewhat damper my excitement my fellow realm players posted;
"grats on taming a bad pet for a bad spec."
and "Imo I wouldn't have tamed it I'd have killed it and skinned it. Grats I guess"
WTF?! Green eyed monster much? The same people continued on in MY thread about how BM spec was bad and how the pet was terrible and what not. Nice enough a few people pointed out that I'm doing it for fun and if I'm happy with it then it doesn't matter. And they where right it doesn't matter what they think, I'm not raiding on this hunter, and I already pointed out that If I had really wanted to raid, I would have already had my duel spec for Survival.
=/ Anyone else have to realm with fellow realmies being just in general asshats?
