Warcraft: We Know Drama

Progression on Raiding for a guild that was for the most part pvp orientated....

So after pvp'ing and waiting for our members to start hitting 60 to venture out into outlands I guess you can say things feel a bit.... stale? Our current cluster of 70's now work on Alts and progression as a guild is.... slow to say the least. Pugging and willingness to pug seem to be a major thorn in my guilds side. But a necessary evil for some who need reputation to make the fabulous items that some want in order to get their pvp up to snuff. At least that's my opinion.

I know some might say, "Pug? Why you have a guild with 70's...." yeah......... our Main healer is a fantastic Holy Pali healer. She's really good at her job and no one would dream of replacing her, only giving Assistant healers to cover what she can't get to right away. Our main problem is and I mentioned this a while ago. We lack a tank. Why? Because our old tank decided that our casually progressing pvp ways just wasn't what he was looking for. So in causing drama with the guilds Main mage (who was replaced by me being that I became the second 70 mage in guild) and both ended up /gquiting

Which brings us back to present. After talking it over with the GL, came up with an idea that should shake up the guild and light a fire under the asses of our other Members to give them incentive to lvl and get themselves together.

We decided to give raiding Onyxia a try.

Why Onyxia? Well after watching one video on Youtube where it was 3manned successfully, and hearing how it was successfully 2 Manned (sadly they noobishly forgot to video tape it but have the drop and the quest item to prove it), figured that it could be at least 10 manned by our 70's and a good number of 60's. The purpose for it is to work on teamwork. help people find their nich's in game.

Granted we'll get those who join and want to do places like Kara or Zul'Aman. But as much as we'd like to get there.... our guild is divided into a sort of half. Half who want to pvp and half who want to instance and do dungeons along the way......

I'm trying to find a middle ground for them only because I dont' wanna see any more faction split offs like the last time.
