[He hasn't seen Sirius since the end of the school term - thank you for that, Snape. He's not even entirely sure where Sirius is, or what he's doing. All he is sure of is that Sirius isn't responsible -was never responsible- for James and Lily's death, and he spent a decade in prison for a crime he didn't commit - and Peter, who did commit the crime, is out there somewhere, doing who-knows-what.
Remus can't decide which he regrets more: blaming Sirius, or not killing Peter. Thank you for that, too, Snape.
No, he's probably not really that bitter. He's got wolfsbane now, and for that he really does thank Snape. Unfortunately, it keeps him from losing his mind completely. What it doesn't do is entirely remove the moon's influence on him. And the moon is rapidly approaching full. Between that, a necessary move and the scramble to find somewhere to live after he's been publicly outted -
