Thesis draft finished

Mar 03, 2005 22:26

Today I completed my honors thesis draft. It comes to 35+ pages and has over 100 citations. (The required length is 35-50 pages). I have been working it in some form or another since last spring, although only officially for the last two terms. I brought it into my thesis adviser today.

If some of you haven't heard from me recently, this could be why! :D The most sleep I've had since the 19th of February has been 4 1/2 hours. I've been up late every night working on my thesis paper.

I wish I could say that this draft is all I have to do, but now I need to go back and seriously revise it and get a more polished draft. I need to get a Chicago Style formatting book to make sure everything fits that format, since I decided that the parentheses in MLA would be too invasive and awkward. I also have to work out details with my adviser and secondary reader. They both need the short stories I analyzed and we need to work out the details for a formal presentation which will probably take place Friday of next week. It's a lot to do.

Of course, I also have two other major projects due, one an essay due Monday of finals week and the other a large multimedia project due next Thursday.

Tonight, though, I am going to relax and sleep and feel happy I have a completed a draft. Tomorrow I'll get back to work on it.
