Martin Luther King Jr. Day
I'm back from my weekend. The most exciting thing is I got a new tall & thin bookshelves case (this makes me REALLY REALLY happy because my books have been taking over my floor) and a new desk. My parents are very cool. I also got a book my mom found at Goodwill and a beta fish (name: Grissom).
It's Martin Luther King Jr. day, so everyone take a moment to stop and think about equality in this country. First, think about the problems we have had with equality in the past and how we have struggled against those. Then think about the problems we have now, and how we can struggle against them. Remember, it starts on a small scale. Think about what you can do on a personal and community level to be inclusive and celebrate diversity and equality.
