When I Grow Up.....

Life has been pretty good lately.  I think after I found out about this interview things started to fall into place even more for me.  I've actually figured out what I want to do in the county once I get my masters next year.  It's called a Child & Family Intervention Specialist I/II.  It's basically a therapist/counselor/psychologist which is what I've wanted to do since my senior year of high school so I'm totally excited that I know what position to work for.  Sadly, I don't have my masters yet cause the entry level position I would have to get before I can move to the II position is open right now as I type, but you need a masters in some sort of social science.  Alas, I need to wait and hopefully in early 2010 when I have my masters and everything, it will be open again and I will finally be settled in a job I have worked towards for the past however many years.  I am just so totally unmotivated with my job now cause I just don't do anything!  I don't mind getting paid for doing nothing, but eventually you run out of things to do.  Plus, the IT people blocked a bunch of sites I go to like stc so I can't even watch tv episodes or anything like that now.  I've just been ripping the shows I have on dvd onto my computer and putting them on my iPod since I have the 80GB one and normally only use like 8GB between my songs and podcasts.  I so far have all 4 seasons of the Office, Dead Like Me season 1, and Friday Night Lights season 1 and 2, as well as Ultraviolet (the awesome British tv series not the movie), and Sweeney Todd as well as some other random videos like Potter Puppet Pals, the Twilight and HBP trailers, and of course Dr. Horrible.  Some tv shows have come back which made last week great.  Gossip Girl picked up right where it left off without missing a beat and was awesome.  For some reason, I enjoyed 90210.  Maybe cause it's so stupid I just like watching it.  I didn't buy how someone could get on a team, kicked off, back on,kicked off again, and then back on a team all in the same week.  I don't think we needed a two hour premiere, but I enjoyed it.  I haven't been able to watch the premiere of Bones, but I do have it on my DVR.  Excited for Fringe tomorrow and the Island (latest RW/RR challenge) on Wednesday.  For some reason we have HBO/Showtime again on our cable so I was able to DVR TrueBlood which looks really cool.  Between that, Buffy, Ultraviolet, and Twilight, I've been on a big time vampire kick lately.
"Why do you keep CC'ing me on things that have nothing to do with me."
