I played Street Fighter 4 last night and was challenged in a ranked match by an Akuma player. I knew he was an Akuma player because he had a black title with red words. Even without the character icons I'm getting pretty good at predicting who a person uses by looking at their title!
Because I don't take videogames seriously I picked Dan (or as no one else calls him, the Anti-Akuma) and it was a pretty close match but I won. He wanted to turtle and just sat in the corner and waited for me to do something Dan-like, so I did--after about 15 taunts I think he got mad and rushed in. Three rounds and some more taunting later, it was over and I got to see his player stats--something like 5500 battle points :V I had like 700 because I'm shit at this game. I had a good laugh and quit to Training mode, figuring I had peaked for the night. I assume waiting for the other guy to make a move was how he got so many points in the first place. I was WONDERING if he was going to try and fight me again because losing to a low level Dan as your PRO AKUMA had to have stung, and sure enough 20 seconds later the invites and messages come.

I checked out his profile and saw that his bio was "keep crying little bitch" and knew that he was the kind of people I don't like--people who can't accept a loss, people who take games seriously, and Akuma players.

Then I went and did something else. A few hours later I logged back on to watch Survivorman on Netflix and saw that he had left me another message

H...how DARE he?? Wait, didn't he lose to Dan with Akuma? Something doesn't add up about this latest correspondence so I had to reply. I knew that staying cool and stating the facts would infuriate him a lot more than using bad words.

well..it was a pretty predictable response but not as fun or funny as I was hoping for so I decided to just end it there.

What's OK? Am I being forgiven? Thank goodness :^o now I can just block communication with him. I like to think he kept desperately trying to get a rematch, anger rising. Maybe I should have eventually taken him up on it to try and see if he would make mistakes out of anger, but honestly I doubt I'd beat him again, haha. The only thing that sucks is that it probably doesn't tell him that i blocked him, and he just thinks I'm not responding to his messages because I can't think of a comeback. To summarize, internet sucks akuma sucks street fighter sucks people sucks akuma sucks
