Comment: This kinda sequel for
Tutoring. I think that you don't need to read at first, but sure you can do it :) for Taisuke's 24th birthday.
Last year in high year had started pretty smoothly for 2-Z. Or they are 3-Z now. They still weren't even as brilliant students as the other class' are, but even though so, they never didn't give up on trying.
Minato Ryosuke sighed. Even though, everything seemed okay, he still felt uneasy. And he knew the reason for that. Ryosuke looked at his side and saw Kazuma looking at the board confused about anything they were getting trough then.
Ryosuke smiled, before he realized that he was staring again and looked away. He was sure that it's only about the time, when he will lose his mind. He has already super difficult to focus on class and he was sure that soon he won't get enough good grades, which would please him enough. And more than that, he doesn't want to worry his mom anymore, not after what all he has done for her.
Ryosuke sighed. He seriously needs to focus on his studying. He couldn't get his grades to drop more than they have probably already had.
But that Ryosuke actually could still heard Kazuma's every breath, doesn't help his situation at all.
**
Like usually, Ryosuke were sitting in his and others' favourite café alone. He slipped his coffee slowly, while he tried to think solution to his problem. Dropping in his grades was the last thing, he wanted to happen. But it looked like impossible task to do right now.
It seemed that there is only solution for this. And it sounded any good for Ryosuke, because it risked everything. It risked his and Kazuma's friendship, how people will act around him, everything. In worst case, it risk his grades as well. He sighed deeply.
When he heard the door open, he got back into reality. He looked at who it was, who came and recognized her as Yui. Not that he hated to be with her or anything, but right now, he wanted to avoid everyone he knows as much as possible.
When Yui noticed Ryosuke, she smiled and waved to the other. Ryosuke forced himself to smile, even though, he wished that Yui would get a hint and leave him alone. But that wasn't working and Yui sat next Ryosuke.
Ryosuke was too busy to control himself to act normally that he missed Yui's worried look - sensing that her friend doesn't have everything okay. 'Are you okay?' Yui's voice forced Ryosuke to look at her and he felt guilty, because there was no way that he would tell his problem to Yui - out of all people.
'I'm fine.', Ryosuke said quickly, breaking the eyes contact with Yui and finishing his coffee while getting up. 'I need to go now.', he said and walked away.
'Ryosuke?', Yui tried to call him back, but Ryosuke already got out of the door.
**
On the next morning, Ryosuke was torn between to go to school or not. Because he knows that he worried Yui that much that she has probably told about his weird behaviour to Kazuma and others. In the end, Ryosuke decided that it's better to go than skip it. When Ryosuke arrived to their classroom, his friends were there already. Like he thought, Yui told about his behaviour to others, when he met four couples of worried looks, which he tried to ignore as good as he could.
'Mornin'..', he said as he sat on his place. Not even a second later, he noticed Kazuma's hand on his desk and looked up to see Kazuma's eyes. 'What?', he finally said when Kazuma's worried eyes were too much to him.
'Yui told us that you acted weird yesterday', Kazuma said calmly 'Is something wrong? You know that you can tell us everything.' Ryosuke noticed that others were nodding for what Kazuma just said. He sighed. 'I'm fine, no need to worry about me...'
'You sure?', Kazuma asked, and Ryosuke wasn't sure. Not when Kazuma stood so near him. 'I'm fine', he finally said, enough loud that their whole class stared at him at the moment. When Ryosuke started to feel way too much uneasy of all stares, their homeroom teacher stepped into their class.
'Good morning!', Tennoriji-sensei called happily, until she regonized the awkward atmosphere. 'Eh? Is everything okay?' she asked, when everyone came even more awkward and sat silently on their places. Kazuma still stared at Ryosuke, until even he turned to sit as well.
If Tennoriji-sensei thought that there is something going on between him and Kazuma, she didn't asked anything about it, before she started to ask attendance. Anyway, he could feel Kazuma's eyes on him once a while - whole day.
**
Ryosuke sighed while he stretched a bit. It has been harsh day for him and he just wanted to go home, before anyone can ask him anything. But to his bad luck, he heard their homeroom teacher voice behind him.
'Minato-kun?', Misaki, or Tennoriji-sensei, called him and Ryosuke turned around to face her. 'You can talk a bit?'
No, he actually could talk a bit, but he knew that if he avoided Misaki now, she will haunt him as long as it's needed. And that was something, Ryosuke didn't want to happen. 'Okay?', he said finally.
Misaki made Ryosuke to follow to the classroom. Misaki closed the door so that no one will hear them. 'I see that there is something to bothering you?', Misaki started 'could you tell me what is it?'
That's it. How Ryosuke could tell his problem. He doesn't know even what is his problem. Okay, Kazuma was his problem. He just didn't know how else to explain his problem. Ryosuke looked around a bit, not knowing what to say.
'I guess that I'm a bit worried about exams..', Ryosuke said finally. And he wasn't exactly lying. He was worried about his mostly likely worst grades what he has ever, but he wasn't going to tell why. No way.
'Oh? Why?', Misaki asked, 'what I have followed you have been pretty active all classes and so. Any particular reason for your unsureness?'
Ryosuke swallowed. Yes, there was, but like before - not telling it. So he shook his head.
Misaki smiled. 'Well, Minato-kun. It's a bit over 2 weeks to exams, so you just need to be confident to yourself and study, so I'm sure that you can get great grades.' she patted Ryosuke's shoulder and left.
Ryosuke sighed. As if it was that easily.
**
Even though, Ryosuke knew that this was pretty doomed already. Even though, he still had like 2 weeks time to learn all things to exams, still he was pretty unsure could he make it anyway. Mostly because someone keeps distracting his thoughts.
Ryosuke sighed. Soon, he needed to choose between two: either being fucked up with school or being very fucked up with school and everything else.
He heard slight knock from his door and his mom walked with few onigiri. ”Eat these.”, his mother said, patting her son head.
'I'm not hungry.', Ryosuke just answered, trying to get his mom out of his room, so that he doesn't need to pretend that he was studying.
'You should eat. Before you start to think with your stomach.', his mom said worried. When Ryosuke looked at his mom, he noticed that worried look what he has found in everyone's eyes that day.
'Tennoriji-sensei said that you had been a bit stressed about the exams.', his mom said calmly. Ryosuke sighed, not even counting anymore how umth is was. His mother smiled and hugged his son a bit.
'But you know, even you don't get good grades, you're my beloved son', she said and gave a light kiss to her son's forehead and left.
Ryosuke looked as his mother disappeared from his room. Sighing he wondered if his mother would accept his true self as well.
**
The week has come to its end and Ryosuke wasn't any closer to be sane. The only sane reason, what he has figured out to make him more sane is that he tells about his feelings for Kazuma. Because he was more than confident that he couldn't survive till when the exams begin.
Ryosuke didn't realize that he was so deep in his thoughts, until he got back into the present time, when he heard his phone vibrating next to him. Sighing, he took it from the table and couldn't breath for a little moment, when he saw who sent a message to him.
I want to talk with you, was all in Kazuma's message. Ryosuke thought about it awhile, and decided to give it a try. Well, Ryosuke couldn't actually lose anything. His grades were doomed anyway. But mostly he was worried what Kazuma wanted and how he react when he confessed to him. If Kazuma would start to ingore him because this. Maybe he was too disgusted of him to hang with him anymore.
When Ryosuke and Kazuma were agreed to meet in the park, Ryosuke got ready and told his mother that he was going out with Kazuma before he went out of the door. When he was closed the door, he sighed deep. He hoped that this works fine, but he was still worried.
When Ryosuke got to the park, he noticed that Kazuma wasn't there. Ryosuke tried to calm himself down, so he was able to be like he was normally around Kazuma. Expect it was getting too impossible recently.
Kazuma called his name and Ryosuke felt like he was some stupid girl, who was too nervous about her first date with the guy she liked. Oh god, Ryosuke needed to push that thought away, it wasn't good moment to get thoughts like that.
Ryosuke waved to Kazuma and tried to get his breath as normal as possible. Kazuma just smiled at him, when he got closer him.
'So, what you wanted to talk about?', Ryosuke asked, trying to forget that he was nervous as hell.
Kazuma just kept smiling. 'I just wanted to hang with you a bit.' Ryosuke just smiled and sat on the glass when he noticed Kazuma doing it as well.
'Are you okay?', Kazuma asked after few seconds' silent. Ryosuke turned to see Kazuma and he could see real worry in other's eyes. He just nodded. 'I'm just worried about the exams'
Kazuma chuckled. 'Why? You would do them better than me, even though you don't read for them.', he joked and got a punch from Ryosuke. 'That wasn't funny, Kazuma.', Ryosuke said, a bit hurt. 'Okay, okay. Calm down. You know that I didn't mean it that way.', Kazuma said before he lied down on the grass.
Ryosuke sighed. Kazuma had a point. Kazuma hasn't ever been big student-type, having difficult to focus on studying. With huge possiblity, Kazuma went to work, not going to the University or any other school. He wasn't like that.
Thinking about it made Ryosuke sad. Unlike Kazuma, he was pretty perfectionist and wanted to make everything perfect. So Ryosuke might continues his studying in university, making some part-time work when he has time. Kazuma and Ryosuke were like day and night, but they have proved to each others that they were friends, who stands behind their friend when this needed it the most.
Ryosuke lied down. His head was spinning so hard that he was losing his touch to present time. He just worried about his grades, about his future, about his future without Kazuma. How he could survive like that?
It took about few seconds before Ryosuke realized that everything wasn't okay. He felt other lips on his. When he opened his eyes, he saw Kazuma, eyes closed and his lips on his own. Ryosuke paniced and broke their kiss. Kazuma just stared at him calmly, when Ryosuke tried to catch his breath.
'What the hell you think to do?' was all Ryosuke could say, and almost blushed when he saw Kazuma's smiling. 'Kissing you, obviously.'
Ryosuke bit his lip. He didn't know what to say. He was so happy. He wanted to say that he has waited this moment to happen from no one knows when. He wanted Kazuma to kiss him again and make Ryosuke his. He wanted to say that how much he has dreamed how Kazuma would taste on his.
But all he could say was 'Do you know how much I worried exams because I was failing them because of you?'
Kazuma looked at him, suspected his for little second, until he smiled his bright smile. The one, Ryosuke loved the most. 'You, failing exams?', he said laughing, 'You must be kidding me. It wasn't even worth of it.'
Ryosuke punched Kazuma once again, but second later, they both were laughing.
THE END
Ending Comment: .... well, it seems that I couldn't stop writing Kazuma/Ryosuke. Needed to make a sequel for Tutoring after all. And this happened to be longer than I thought it'd be. And I even managed to make it like two days before Taisuke's birthday, when usually I managed to make like a day before or then it's just late.
Comments are nice and so. :)
