Summary: Taisuke went to the movie with Hiro, but he found something more attractive than the movie..
Comment: well, needed to make a fic, since... one. they are too cute. two. they seriously went to see the movie together. three. my heart can't anymore with them.
Taisuke wanted to think that he wasn't nervous. Of course he wasn’t. How silly would that be? They had been in the same company for almost ten years and more than half of that, they had stuck together in different groups. There was no reason to be nervous.
They had never been close. Or they had been friends - pretty good friends and stuff - but they had preferred to hang out with their own friends. It was so until it was announced that they were to be in the same drama. Of course, it meant a lot of things to do together, including shoots with only the two of them. It was awkward, yes, but they were professionals.
All this caused that Taisuke found himself waiting near the cinema for Hiro to come. Taisuke let out a frustrated sigh and glanced at his watch probably for the 100th time. Hiro was 5 minutes late, but Taisuke didn't want to be mad at him. Hiro was Hiro and it was more a routine than an exception that the other was late. But still, Taisuke didn't like standing there like a fool.
At the very moment when Taisuke thought he might kill Hiro, he saw the other running towards him. ”Oh, you finally appear,” Taisuke said but anyone could hear that he wasn't really mad at the other one anymore. Not even though he ended up being over 20 minutes late.
”Gomen...” Hiro panted when his breathing got a little more normal after running. Taisuke thought that he must have run like that all the way from his house, or maybe Hiro was just getting too old for running.
”Are you okay?” Taisuke asked when Hiro was still trying to catch his breath. ”Are you sure that you don't need to sit down or anything?”
”Shut up...” Hiro snapped, understanding immediately that Taisuke was just teasing him.
Taisuke only smiled simply. ”Can we go now?” Taisuke asked and Hiro just nodded, the two starting to walk towards the cinema.

They bought the tickets and Taisuke bitched about how they almost missed the show because Hiro was so late. Hiro just rolled his eyes and said that the showing wasn't even the last one that day, so they could have just gone to see a later one, anyway.
There wasn’t much time before the movie would start, so Taisuke began to move towards the hall until he felt Hiro’s hand on his arm pulling him. ”What is it?” Taisuke asked, wondering about the older male's weird behavior.
”I want popcorn.” Hiro simply stated and Taisuke raised his eyebrow, following the older one anyway to where he was already paying for his popcorn.
When Hiro finally took his popcorn from the sales counter, Taisuke inspected him from head to toe. ”I never thought that you are the person...” Taisuke paused to find the right words. ”The person who would eat popcorn in the movies.”
”Well, the movie tastes better when eating popcorn, right?” Hiro answered and Taisuke felt that he had been defeated by Hiro's words way too many times that day already.
Taisuke rolled his eyes. ”Can we go already? There’s only about 10 minutes before the movie will start...” he asked and Hiro nodded.

When the lights went off, the advertisements started to show on the screen and Taisuke stole some popcorn from Hiro, since... Well, he was sure that Hiro wasn't going to eat all of the popcorn himself and there was enough popcorn for two anyway.
Just then, the movie itself started. Taisuke looked at Hiro from the corner of his eye but looked back just as fast because for some reason his heart began to beat faster and he felt warmer inside.
Even though Taisuke decided that he would keep his eyes only at the movie and not at the older male next to him, he soon realized that it was pretty much impossible. It wasn't even 15 minutes to the movie when Taisuke had already given up focusing on it, though he still watched it once in a while, trying to hide his obvious staring.
Hiro didn’t seem to notice anything but Taisuke had been in same group for long enough to know that it might not be case. Taisuke tried to be careful, though he realized it got harder and harder as Hiro seemed to be more attractive than the movie.
Taisuke observed how calm Hiro's face was in the dim light of the movie theater, how perfect Hiro's face looked in that light. How… How sexy Hiro was when he ate popcorns. And in that moment, Taisuke was sure that he was getting some kind of a fetish of this. He was probably going insane or something.

”So, how was it?” Hiro asked when they got out from the cinema.
Taisuke blinked, wondering for a second what Hiro meant before he answered. ”It was okay, I guess...”
Hiro grinned at that and Taisuke had a bad feeling about it. ”You didn't seem to pay a lot of attention to the movie after all...”
Taisuke knew exactly what Hiro meant by that but he still tried to act innocent. ”Eh?”
”Was there something on my face, you were watching it pretty closely...?” Hiro asked, still grinning.
Taisuke started to blush slightly and he felt like a girl. ”N-no, no, there was nothing wrong with your face…” he replied quickly and gave a shy smile.
”Really?” Hiro asked and leaned closer. ”Are you sure that you don't want to check it?” Hiro seemed to enjoy teasing Taisuke.
”NO!” Taisuke snapped and pushed Hiro away from him. ”Your face just … looked more interesting than that movie, okay?”
Hiro nodded, making a pretty weird face. ”Is this again about you thinking only of me?”
”It doesn't have anything to do with this!” Taisuke tried to protest, but wasn't sure whether it was true. ”Just... Stop teasing me, okay.”
Hiro just grinned but understood what the problem was. ”Okay, okay, I will stop,” Hiro said and Taisuke was sure that he didn't know how relieved Taisuke felt in that moment.
”Do you want to eat something? It's not that late yet anyway...” Hiro asked to change the topic. Taisuke made a face at that, still not recovered from Hiro's teasing. ”You better pay for my food then!” he then answered and showed his tongue to Hiro.
Taisuke's childish behavior made Hiro laugh. ”Taisuke, you're so cheap,” he said laughing and that earned him a kick from the younger one, one of which the both of them knew it didn't hurt that much.
