I am just an idea. Not in my mind, because my mind is just an idea. You are an idea. Human life is just an idea. The universe, stars, sun... Ideas. Let this sink in. Try to expand on this theory. Try playing the telephone game for 2007 years.

All of the conditions in which we live are perfectly formatted for life, theres no denying that, the level of oxygen in the air, gravity, etc. Coincidence? Maybe, it is possible considering how infinite space is, and with so many galaxies out there, that this planet could just happen to be one that is able to support life. The other explanation is that earth was not randomly created, but that it was purposely crafted by a concious being. Neither of these sides has yet to be proven, hence the giant debate over whether or not a "god" exists. Humans are the only organisms that know they are going to die, one theory is that the human brain simply cannot accept this reality, and in an attempt to deal with the overwhelming stress it creates it's own "god" or afterlife. Some people need to see something to believe it, which is perfectly logical (but at the same time may hinder open-mindedness) although others don't need that assurance, and they simply trust their instincts and that is enough for them. Basically, every human is faced with the same question, "Why am I alive?" and we are alone in answering it. Some choose to live for god, some live to experience life in the fullest no matter the consequences, some just completely ignore the question, and some choose not to accept their life. A person chooses their beliefs based on their own experiences and thoughts, so it might be impossible for someone to understand another person's beliefs. You can either respect it or you can criticize it, but I doubt that criticizm would change anyones mind, if anything could. But no matter how you look at it, I'm sure we can all agree that fighting over individual beliefs is fucked and gets us nowhere. I know that if I die in a war over religion I'm gonna be really pissed.

Absolutely. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, believe what you want. I don't know what to believe. I'm planning on exploring Islam just to see what it does for me. Kris and Alex are going to believe what they choose, all I ever meant to say, or ask, is not to preach it on an everyday basis. A simple request can be turned down, I don't expect anyone on earth to agree completely with opinions (for lack of a better word)that I choose to ponder, and that's all religion really is, theoretical opinions. There's no argument there. Arguing over belifs is silly. Believe what you want. Do what you want.

Funny how this talks can stir up peoples emotions. Just one thing I wanted to say Preaching and Teaching are two sperate words. Teach is to give knowledge to the reader/listening. Preach is more advocate, especially to urge acceptance of or compliance. Big difference and back to my report on Atheism, thats just teaching.
