I chatted to Klaxons a bit ago and they made the point that the best remixes of Atlantis To Interzone weren't just slowed down versions. Admittedly they mentioned the Crystal Castles version (we could like Crystal Castles but they're too restrained for us most of the time and that particular remix was very new wave) but their point was ultimately one that rang true with us. Which is why we wanted to point out the hip hop remix of Hustler by Simian Mobile Disco. A proper, black, gangster, money spinning, booty bouncin', dirty southin' hip hop track that has no relation to two speccy ex-psych-folk uni students from England other than, well, the beat. Rick Ross, apparently, is Hustlin' Hustler.

Now, check out the video. We harped on about Hustler being a sleazy song and alikened it to fifty year old vicars taking too much interest in your sixteen year old daughter and all that jazz but, we didn't even touch on the true sleaze as highlighted by the GENIUS video. Saam Farahmand is your new deity. Hail him.
