Little Band Bashing
Oh. Just in case I seem unnecessarily slating and Down With Small Music in that last post, I wish The Cutters all the success in the world. Just, by success, I mean I hope they evolve into a good, forward thinking band and then go on to get the recognition they therefore deserve. Not. I hope their completely risk free brand of songwriting gets them radio play and they go on to make money selling average songs to average thinkers to play to their average friends via mp3 on their new mobile phone's deeply underwhelming playlist.
O Fracas, ¡Forward, Russia!, This Et Al, The Chalets, Kill Kenada, Tunng, the longcut, Field Music, Mystery Jets, Stateless, Alterkicks, Infadels. I would cry injustice if The Cutters, in the state I saw them last night, in the state they are on the CDs I've just played, rose to fame above any of these bands.
