I do respect Jacques Le Cont. Even if I didn't enjoy Zoot Woman a great deal I still think he's a good guy. Especially since Jacques Your Body was an amazing tune (you may remember it ten years after the fact soundtracking the advert where the car turns into a robot, yeah). Anyway, today's standalone purchase was Juliet's Avalon. Juliet is an American popstrel, never heard of her before personally but Avalon is a fantastic track, produced, as if you hadn't guessed by now, by Jacques himself. Pop kids should love it, I did.

The rest of today's purchases, weirdly, are from the 679 stable. Kano's Home Sweet Home album, Death From Above 1979's Black History Month single, backed with a cover of Bloc Party's Luno (the whole package definitely not worth paying for), and Mystery Jet's single On My Feet. So far On My Feet seems like a decent track, although not the off-kilter anthem that Zoo Time was. We shall see. I didn't have chance to listen to The Tale. When I get home from work I expect I'll devote some quality time to KA and let you guys know.

In the meantime. Juliet's Avalon, great track.

we'll take a holiday, you know i'd love you better...
