The girl at Rough Trade - one of the two, the less friendly one - she doesn't seem to like her job. Maybe it's her life, I don't know. It makes me wonder why she bothers. What I want is the latest Malcolm Middleton single. What I don't want is the sub-U2 New Order of Fans Of Kate. Another band with a really annoying lead vocalist. I mean Battle, despite their song being an okay stab at taunt melancholy is sullied a little by a deeply infantile vocal. Something that works better on the utterly puerile Help She Can't Swim album - teenage angst by teenagers - but that just makes you cringe over what should be a more mature sound. I don't want something that isn't a little rough around the edges, I don't want Mature Music and all the MOR that that implies, just, I don't want lyrics that would look sub-par in the back of a maths book. Y'know.
Malcolm Middleton, where are you now. I've got it on order at HMV but with only "a limited number" of copies in existence I'm not holding my breath. Bah humbug. The girl at Rough Trade wasn't exactly helpful. Then again, Rough Trade have had my order for over a fortnight, I've cancelled half of it, they cancelled most of the other half and yet they're still just sitting on my damn CD.
So. I got this Street Beatz compilation. It's got a few songs on there that have had lyrics cut, like, radio friendly versions. Annoying that includes Mobb Deep's Got It Twisted but y'know, you live. However, it's a little less easy to swallow when the CD also has the full version of My Neck, My Back by Khia. Full, uncut, explicit, ACAPELLA version. Just so you don't miss a word.
first you gotta put your neck into it, don't stop just do it do it. then you roll your tongue from the crack back to the front then ya, suck it off 'til i shake and cum nigga, make sure i keep bustin' nuts nigga, all over your face and stuff, slow head show me so much love
I mean, seriously. They blank the 'ass' out of your ass won't make it to see tomorrow in Got It Twisted. The world is an entirely upside down thing.
