She was SO cute with that little boy!! SO CUTE. We have a video that I think Liss is posting, and some other stuff besides.
IT. WAS. AMAZING. I cannot even... Hell & I kept getting pulled aside for interviews and stuff once they found out where we were from, and the Mayor wanted to meet us. He was very lovely and the PA guy gave Hell his card so we can get pics and stuff from them. Then when we got to meet Mindy, Andrea - the girl we stayed with - leaned in and told her that we all came together, and the PA guy told her about me and Hell. So Mindy was like "OH MY GOD, NO WAY!" and we gave her a little pink gift bag with chocolate and stuff and she was SO happy. She said pink was her favourite colour then got up to come hug us all. I got two hugs, because she went around and then came to me again and I was like "aww, you already got me!" and she said "oh my God, Mindy wouldn't stop hugging me!!" and sat back down and signed all our stuff with adorable personal messages. She told us that the chocolate we gave her would be great for the drive to NY she was about to make to go to Paul Lieberstein's wedding, where I believe she said shed be making a speech or somehting. THEN we asked if we could do "This day is bananas..." with her...
And she said yes. So we lined up and recorded it "with apologies to Gwen Stefani" - again, I believe this is being posted soon.
And then AND THEN... She said "and you know what happens next?" and Tiff was like "ANGELA GETS OUT THE TYLENOL!" so I quoted it and said that Angela was my favourite - "no offense"
... She said none taken, and that she'd tell her.
It was an incredible day and we were SO lucky to have the experience we did. Mindy was incredibly sweet, friendly, funny and charming. And looked ridiculously beautiful.
Yesterday was bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S ♥ ♥ ♥
We also have a ton of pictures and videos that are either completely random or that relate to the Scranton trip in general, but we fail at keeping up with uh, ourselves, and have to leave to go to the drive in soon. SO IDK WHEN THEY'LL GET POSTED, BUT THERE'S MUCHO SPAM TO COME. JUST A HEADS UP.
