(no subject)
OMG how long is it since I actually made an entry on here?! O_o Anyways, this has to be fairly short considering I'm using the Uni comp xD but hey I'm bored and can't be bothered doing my ICCT blog until I get home so thought I may as well do something 'prouductive' ;) Life is going very very good as far as I can remember. I still have that horrible lingering flu bug that's going round. Haven't had it properly, just keep getting it in bits. Mum's been fairly bad and Dad is horrible with it. He's got the worse cough, feel so sorry for him. Bless them, they've gone to help my Auntie and Uncle move today though, even though they're not well themselves. I would have helped but hey, Uni has to come first *Is proud she realises that*
Today's been quite good actually. WAY better than I thought it would be. Have my ICCT (Introduction to Critical and Cultural Theory) lecture in the morning and the seminar an hour later. Merrick who's the Head of English, God only knows how, usually takes it and it's so boring that everyone falls to sleep. Last week I literally didn't write one thing down, just got it from Blackboard when I got him :/ but got there today and found that it was David who was taking it. ICCT just got a whole lot more interesting. It was the best ICCT lecture we've had this year which is great. Plus, my seminar teacher is an Aussie so it was all good :p Love her teaching and totally understood all this crazy stuff I haven't understood in Merrick's lectures. So the future is looking good for ICCT, providing David starts doing the lectures of course hehe
Got on the train this morning and Jessica, one of my lecturers, got on. She gets on two stops after me so it's nice seeing her. She's American and bless her heart she's just the sweetest woman in the world. Such a lovely lady. I've got a seminar with her in half an hour. Worth waiting two hours for :)
Think that's it for now. Spent just short of £135 on books for Uni the other day :S that really hurt my bank balance! I'm nearly done buying books now I think thank goodness. I swear the Waterstone's people know who I am now because they have to keep ringing my house to tell me another one of my books that's on order are in xD have one to pick up for Stylistics and still waiting for another six xD ah, such is life hehe
Hope you're all FAABulous. Jay finally moved out of his house to a flat last Monday which is great news for him so next Thursday he's having a housewarming. Should be a goooooood night ;) xxxx
