I got my car back. It's a transmission thing. Except it behaves just fine when they test it. I haven't noticed anything unusual. They can't find anything wrong with it. Now, the price of replacing the transmission is about 90% of the Blue Book value of my car. I'm not sure what to do, but my current strategy is "hope the car keeps working".
