Holiday just ended two days ago; Time to get back to studying, causing trouble, classes, and Quidditch! Watch out for teachers who like to take away house points, and I hear the treacle tarts are really good this year. Maybe if you sneak down to the kitchens you can totally get one.

[History of Magic...so boring. Why didn't he just cut class?]

[Veser isn't wrong. Just because Griffin is a Ravenclaw doesn't mean he enjoys this class in the slightest. He appears to be diligently taking notes, but he is, in fact, drawing Professor Binns attempting to hang himself and falling through the noose.]

[This Gryffindor isn't above terrible jokes and bad drawings making fun of boring teachers. To the contrary, he finds them hilarious and that's why he's snickering.]

Same person, I promise!

[His drawing is stellar, but the joke is rather terrible. Griffin lifts his head, wondering who the hell could find joy in this class. When he realizes that it's his drawing causing the laughter, he shrugs, but there's a grin on his face.]

[Veser slides his hand over and snags the parchment, scribbling his own addition to it: Binns's famous chair, the one he originally died in, weeping in the corner.

One terrible joke added to another.]

SORT OF. Also will be the account I use if I join up at Adstring.

[He's not that quiet about it when his parchment is nicked, but it's not like Binns ever pays attention. When he sees what the Gryffindor is doing, Griffin snorts. A competition, is it?

He takes his drawing back. Now Binns' failed suicide attempt is taking place in the middle of a staff meeting, in which the professors look bored or else have dozed off.]

[narratation]

[Zombie's dead and he still thinks this class could manage to kill him.]

[he shows that by using this as a faux-origami class. there's several types of airplanes, what looks like a fox, a swan and the beginnings of either a crocodile or Harry Potter's mom set out in front of him, and for a Gryffindor, he's awfully quiet about the whole thing.]

[Faux-origami class, hm...better than listening to everyone's "favorite" transparent professor drone on about goblins or balancing his quill on his nose. Leaning back in his chair, Veser picks up a piece of parchment and tries to copy his classmate.

...He doesn't have quite the same knack for it Zombie does.]

[narratation]

[Zombie catches sight of these attempts out of the corner of his eye, but he doesn't really acknowledge them.]

[up until he takes a pencil and slowly moves his fox origami next to what he thinks is Vesser's version. eyes still on his own desk, though, utterly line-faced.]
