I finally watched The Prestige, and it was SO GOOD!!! I still feel a bit mystified from all the unexpected twists and thrills in the plot. So, yeah I'd highly recommend it for anyone else to watch :)

What also has been good:

1. Camaraderie Concert. That night I left Irvington's theater feeling really happy and inspired by all the talented musicians and singers :) And to be friends with some of them- I felt so proud of their hardwork and dedication! :) I think my favorite performance was the beatboxer and two girls harmonizing to Killing Me Softly. Partly why is cause it's been one of my favorite songs, so when I first saw it on the list of performances, I already felt really excited XD I also really liked the Irvington girl named Monica playing a song(s) by Soulchild (?) & Corinne Bailey Rae on the guitar. She has an amazing voice! There were a lot more fantastic performances, but I don't want to go through the whole list...but still great job to everyone who participated! :)

2. Multicultural Week. All the different food + 1 hour lunches + the assembly today was awesome (props to the performers + ppl who put it together) :) I got to see some Wushu friends I hadn't seen in over year since I last quit, so that was cool. And watching people I knew perform was really fun too :P The hip hop dancers really make me want to learn how to dance haha

School has been school...but I really like English class. Because right now it's kind of like Life class. We've been discussing philosophical kind of stuff over Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s  Cat's Cradle. The guy is crazy and a real pessimist. But the book is really interesting--although somewhat confusing-- in its wtf way. It touches up on religion and some of his views really make you think. The progress report was a bleh, but I'm pretty sure I can raise my grades in certain subjects. Art has been pretty good, I guess. I'm finally moving on from my 2nd charcoal drawing (yeahh, super slow :s) to soft pastels! So I feel pretty excited about that. I also tried running/jogging again this week but found out that I'm really outta shape :/ After I hit a mile, I felt like walking the other one back home... But I guess it's better than no exercise.
Lastly, I'm really glad today's a Friday! and tomorrow's a family picnic to celebrate my grandma's and little Elise's birthday :)
