Day 1
Ok, today I decided to stop by the Richmond Arms on Fountainview and Richmond. I love the decor, the look I give an "A", proper pub. The service also great. Unfortunately the clientele were boring and mostly over 35. So its definately not an afternoon drink place, I'll try it again on a bigger night and see if it improves.
People met: 0
Not a very talkative crowd, no conversations to jump into, no real opportunity to chat anyone up.
Of course when I went to leave the bar, my car wouldn't start. Got it going but I definately need to get the car checked out this weekend...see if I can afford to get it patched up.
Then it was home to start the feast for Patrick's birthday. Roast Pork in a mushroom butter sauce, mashed potatos, spiced potatos, and steamed squash. Jess and her boyfriend Jeff stopped by to wish Pat a happy birthday, much good drinking, conversation and Mario Party. It was nice and relaxing. Hopefully I'll get to chill with Jess and Jeff more often, and with Jess moving to Montrose it will be good.
