I would rate my sewing skills at about a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10 and my difficuly at the moment is I need to put together a dress for the engagement party my mummy is throwing for me on the 29th. Problem is, I need to get it done by saturday night because I will be flying home on the 25th. Luckily I'm done with my presents that I was sewing so I can concentrate on this project (outside of work and other life of course). I have two patterns to decide between. They are fairly similar dresses the only real difference is the number of pieces to each pattern. One has wider straps and about four pieces (with no facing or anything of that nature) the other has about seven pieces with facing and lining and spagehtti straps.
I want to be able to put it together quickly but it still look nice. I have enough fabric etc. to do either so... Are there any other things I should consider? I just would like people's opinions on which might be better. Thanks in advance!
