I got prom queen. :) I was completely SHOCKED but I'm excited. Kim, Christina, and my mom started crying lol. We got some really good pics, I'll post some later cuz I'm not at home right now. The weekend was a blast.
Saturday we all got ready and met at Kats around 4:30. It was me, Kat, Kim, Christina, and Ashley. We took pics there, then went to Ashley's and took pics, and then we went to Champaign to the Olive Garden. We waited about half an hour to be seated. Our waiter was effin HALARIOUS. He was the best waiter I have ever had. It was fun. After that, we ran over to the mall to see Justine cuz she was working. We walked around the mall for about an hour. Haha it was fun, people were stopping to tell us how beautiful we looked. We were taking a picture and some strange guy walked up, snapped a picture, then took off running lol. Soooo many guys were liek "where are your dates?!?" When we told them we didn't have any, they were like "whatttt?! why?!?! i'll be your date!" Good times. So, we finally went to the dance. It was kinda boring at first, but it was fun seein everything and takin pictures. Then it was time for coronation and I had to stand in the freezing cold before we walked in. My mom was going crazy with the camera. Poor Kyle was afraid he was gonna step on my dress when we walked in.
So, then it was the big moment. I seriously did not think I was gonna win. Then they said Jessie Richardson and I'm like, "What?!?!?" I didn't know what to do, I kinda froze. Kyle's like "go! go!" pushing me toward Mrs.Crank. She crowned me, gave me my flowers and a little present. Then I stood there like a freak not knowin what to do. Everybody had to take TEN MILLION pictures. Good grief, I thought I would go blind. I got a 30 dollar gift card to the mall, plus the king and I got a free picture package from the photographer. After that, I was so excited so I had so much fun. We came home, got changed, then went to post prom, which was fun also. Got me some money and made a karaoke cd. Came home, slept for a few hours, then went camping. Had TONS of fun there. Our pictures are gonna be effin halarious. We played on the playground equipment and were playin 500 with nerf balls, just acting like little kids and ish.
Got down to 30 degrees last night, but we had a heater so we weren't that cold. Spent an hour trying to get one stake out of the ground this morning. Man we were pissed. Then we went to breakfast, and now here I sit. I feel like it was just one day. Oh yeah, it's senior skip day so I didn't have school. Haha!
Anyway, now we gotta go...do something. Not sure what, but we gotta get back to reality. Talk to ya all soon, much love. :)
