Writing exercise invitation
As I mentioned a few days back, I plan on starting to write a bit. I'll mostly be doing whatever comes to me as practice, and maybe sooner or later I'll write something of notable size.
What I've decided to do though, is see if anyone else who is on my friends list, or anyone else who happens upon this and has a journal, would like to try to play along. I doubt too many people will do this, if anyone at first, but hey, its worth a try, and it might be fun.
Each week (or most weeks) I will update my journal with a certain Mission, and Guidelines for that Mission. I will then do my piece of writing following the guidelines for the week. Most will be small writting assignments meant to be used as practice using different elements of story telling and narration. All you have to do is, read the guidelines, read my entry, and then write your own IN YOUR JOURNAL, not in my comments. My goal here is to see how all of my friends think, and see how creative some of you are. If even 2 people do this a week, I'll be happy. By posting it in your journal, not only will you get my feedback, but feedback from your friends.
Be sure that if you decide to do it, you post that you're doing it in my comments (so I know to check), but that you post the link to the weekly entry of my journal in your post, so if any of your friends are interested in trying their hand at it, they can.
At first I'll just do a few of personal interest, but if a few people start doing this, I'll try to hit some broader topics.
