Casey wouldn't wake up.
Alright so the flowers made me so happy and I had the stupidest face ever for going home. I got home and gushed to my brother and dad then went to say hi to Casey who was sleeping in a ball on my pillow. She is deaf so she can't hear me coming or calling her. I crawled up the bed to her which about 50% of the time she feels and wakes up but this time she didn't. 99% of the time if you kiss her she will wake up so I kissed her side.... nothing, I kissed her head, side, leg.... nothing. As of this point I am starting to cry and lose my mind. You could see she was breathing but she wouldn't wake up... I started poking her, shaking her and tried waking her with kisses... nothing. I picked up her head and it was a dead weight and her neck was all loose. As of this point I completely lost it. The thoughts going through my mind were "she isn't dead because she is breathing", "is she in a coma or something". As of this point I am shaking the pillow followed by jumping on the bed which finally woke her. She lifted her head and I grabbed her, held her and cried well telling her never to scare me like that again. It was horrible. I then went and told the rest of the house what had just happened and went to go snuggle Casey. We were cuddling and she started purring which made me start crying again and realizing that if she had been dead I wouldn't have this anymore and that I really don't know what I would have done.
The rest of the night was full of ups and downs. Not going into detail about the others though.
