hey y'all. just wanted to let you know that i'm feeling much better -- sad, but peaceful. i think i burned out all the "wahh" receptors in my brain. everybody's been so kind. it's really comforting to know that so many people feel the passing of this tiny dog.
in other news, have randomly hauled off and bought an immense antique Chinese wedding bed. bzuh? we've been wanting a real/bigger bed for years, but... this one? where the hell are we going to put it? how ridiculous will it look in our largely Arts-and-Crafts house? was this really the time to blow a wad of cash credit on something that we were surviving without? answer: who cares, we love it, we'll fit it in somehow, it was a great deal, wot like we were going to buy a bed at Ikea instead? what the hell. it's craziness but it's completely our craziness.
i already know that i'm going to have to take the top crest off or it won't fit in the room. it's enroute from Shanghai right now, should be here in two weeks. wish us luck.
