Mismatch
My friend wanted to introduce me to a coworker that she just met. In her words, "You two will definitely hit it off." I'm always hesistant about going on blind dates because they NEVER work out for me. So I agreed and I met him for lunch on Saturday.
Hmm... so where do I begin? He's toooo old for me. He's soooo boring. I had a miserable time.
I'm not sure why my friend thought we would hit it off. I actually thought he would go great with my friend who is 10 years older than me. She said, "Jen you can't be picky." I don't think it was about me being picky. It was more like he was born in the 60's and I was born in the 80's. Apparently, there's a BIG age gap! He can be my dad.
I know many of you would probably say age doesn't matter these days. If he was 20 years younger, I would still say that it was a bad match. He's not my type. He does look young for his age, so I can see why my friend thought he was younger than her.
*I jogged 3 miles earlier today. It feels great!
