I just dont get it!!!
Last nite was very interesting for me kinda left me in shock. I called my friend Juan who at the time I called he was at a club so I told him I would call him back later. So I get to work turns out I wasn't supposed to work the other guy Victor told me that they were supposed to change my schedule which of course they didn't. But anywho I started on what needed to be done and around 4am I went upstairs to take my break and noticed I had a message on my cell. I checked it and it was my friend Juan. He left a message that went something like..."Hey it's me you said you were gonna call me back where are you? WE need to talk it's important." Normally when I get a call like that its usually about a girl he is having trouble with so I called back and asked what was up. For awhile he was like Nah nevermind forget it. Then finally he said " Do you wanna be with me?" I started laughing because I knew he was drunk and he probably didnt know what he was saying so I ignored the question. And tried to change the convo to something else. And he then says, " Jessica, why haven't you answered me?" So I play dumb and say "What question?" He then said " I asked if you wanted to be with me?" It got quiet for awhile and then I asked "Well what do you mean do I want to be with you? Do you mean sexually or bf gf thing?" He said " I want you to be my girl. You're the girl I have been looking for you're badass." I then said "Juan lets talk about this tomorrow when you're sober and know what you are talking about." He said he wasnt drunk and knew exactly what he was asking me. That's when I got that little lump in my throat and freaked out. Where was all this coming from I have known him for almost a year and when we first met yeah I wanted to hook up with him but he wasn't looking for a relationship. And I accepted that and continued to be his friend. I was his shoulder to lean on when he was having girl problems or when he just needed to talk. My feelings for him faded but he is still my friend. After awhile of thinking all I could manage to say was "I dunno." And for guys who know me know that I use that phrase alot lol. He said "I want a straight up answer Yes No or Maybe." So of course I said MAYBE!! And then he changed it on me and said "Answer Yes Or NO." And this is what came out of my mouth...." Look Juan when I first met you Yes I wanted you to be my bf but you weren't looking for anything other then a fuck. And now this comes out of nowhere and I have no idea how to react." He said "Just answer me Jessica is it yes or no." So I finally said "Juan right now I'm not looking for anything serious. I just want a guy I can be kewl with and hang out." He said "OK" For awhile I was like he's never gonna call me again which made me sad. I had to get back to work so I told him I would call him later and he sadly said "Yeah sure you will." I made him a promise that I would and I'm good on my promises. So we hung up but at work thats all that was running threw my mind. I just got off the phone with a little while ago he wasn't acting different so I assumed he forgot. Until he said "I wasn't drunk last nite I know exactly what I asked you and how you answered me." I didn't say anything. Then he said " Don't worry I haven't given up we are still friends but don't rule me out at having a shot of dating you." That made me smile because I don't want to lose his friendship or his 4am calls when he is drunk. So everything is kewl now. I just had to get that off my back!!! MuAh!!
