Do it.
Set your moniter to be able to distinguish the difference in each shade to properly view my photographs. I've set my moniter's contrast to its highest setting to get the best quality, I'm not sure if this will work for all moniters but do it if possible, if not put it as high as possible without your desktop looking like Kel's photography. Ahaha ;)
