Absence makes heart grow fonder
"YOU! Go to LA." Jin heart was stopped for seconds.
"HAH??" came an incoherent reply from the A of KAT-TUN.
"Go. To. LA" Again, the old man in front of him ordered.
"What?! Why?! I've just debuted with KAT-TUN??!" Jin cursed under his breath.
"You debuted 6 months ago. 6 months are a long time. For me." Johnny-san continued; his eyes on the file in front of him.
Jin noticed the tone of another question and you wish for you'll be in jimusho again in the old man's last sentence.
He looked at the old man in front of him in disbelief.
What he had done for Johnny-san to punish him?
"You have done nothing...I thought I heard that you wanted to study English a few months back...I'm only giving the opportunity..." the old man said as if knowing what Jin was thinking.
And yes, he did say that. But, he still doubted if that was the main reason to send him far away from Japan. And, far away from his lover.
"I don't give a damn for things that don't bring profits to me..." Johnny-san wore the face of just do what I say if you don't wanna know the consequences of not doing so look.
He stood still there. A minute after that, he sighed and looked at him.
"Okay..." he said, half-heartedly, his brain working on how to tell this to his band members, specifically, the K.
The K of KAT-TUN, Kamenashi Kazuya. His band member, his best friend, his crush, and now his only lover.
He walked out of the room, half of his energy drained through the conversation he had with Johnny.
The day came. He made a press conference to announce for his leaving. Two members of KAT-TUN came and either one of them was his lover.
Or rather Johnny made a press conference for him. His eyes wandered around the place, still searching for his lover. In the middle of the crowd, he heard something cracking.
It's his heart breaking.
In the press conference, Maru and Junno came and they brought him a letter.
He held his tears as Maru read the letter. He really didn't want to go. His bleeding heart told him as he watched the faces of his band members.
The days he was in LA, he felt lost. He missed his home. He missed his friend. He missed his lover. The absence of Kame made him felt like that.
He used to have Kame always beside him although they sometimes fought.
But, now it wasn't.
Somehow, he remembered something.
Absence makes heart grows fonder.
He wondered if it's true. He really does. Every time he looked at hic cell phone's wallpaper, he felt like crying.
He made a promise to himself. He will never, again, leave Kame. He will treasure him forever. He knew Kame really means a lot to him.
But, little did he know that Kame wasn't thinking the same.

Out of sight, Out of mind.
The moment he heard the news of Jin going to LA, oh, how happy he was.
He never think that Johnny wanted his boyfriend.. scratch that. His ex-boyfriend to go to LA.
But he didn't complaint either. In fact it's better for Jin to go to La. That means more time for his other boyfriend.
He waited for the day Jin leave to LA. He didn't come to the press conference. He only left some messages for Jin as he thought that it was enough for the latter to think that he really missed him.
But, little did Kame know that actually he was afraid to see that hoping eyes to look at him.
He was afraid to face Jin after all. He just didn't know how to tell the truth to the other.
It had been a couple of months after Jin's left for LA. And Kame didn't seem to remember him. No phone calls, no emails.
He was like okay.. Jin is not here.. Why I should bother to remember him..?? He is out of my sight, so out of my mind…
Kame even didn't bother to ask Jin's best friend about him. That day, he went out with his another boyfriend.
With no sense of guilt towards Jin.
At all.
Because simply, out of sight, out of mind.
It is not easy to be apart with the person you love.
Some people actually believe in long-distance relationship.
Taking the risk of leaving their love one.
Holding on to the hope that their love one will wait for him.
But…some people are born to be …?
