Well everything is going great here in Germany. It sure beats being stuck in Iraq. It has pretty much snowed here since I have gotten back. I have completed my seven day reintergration, well seven half days. And after getting the four day weekend off, I have finally signed out on my 30 day block leave.
Had to go to Drake's school because he set off the fire alarm. He ate lunch and went to the nurses office to get his medication that he is supposed to recieve every day at noon to help him concentrate. Nurse Carl was not there and he was told to go back up to his classroom (even though his class was outside for recess. He was going back to his class when he set off the fire alarm. Everyone had to leave to school and go out into the snow. He says that he was walking and spinning in the hallway (which he does if he has not had his medication) and acidentally hit the fire alarm. The school says that he jumped up and smashed the glass with his elbow and that two other kids saw him. The fact that his hand was cut (like it would be if he hit it spinning) and that there was nothing wrong with his elbow, leads us to believe him over the school. His behavior has improved 110% since he started taking the medication and there are no problems unless he does not get it. We were supposed to go up to the school today for a conference but because of all the snow it was canceled.
Haven't really been able to do much since I have been back. The roads are RED (only emergency personnel) and the weather has been snow, snow and snow. I have taken the boys out to play in the snow but other than that not to much happening.
