Hello,
It has been a while since I have been able to post. I have been pretty busy now that I am in the personnel office. But If I am unable to post, I will at least have duty every two weeks or so. Not as often as I would like to get on but then again I am not really here to get online and post. I will try to schedule more time to get to the MWR to use the computers there. I think the main problem is that it is so hot here and you have to put all the gear back on to go to the MWR to use the computers. Usually once I get back to my room and take the gear off I don't really want to put it back on.
Well nothing really going on here other than it is getting hot. Ran into a few camel spiders (they grow to be about the size of a mans hand) but they were little ones about the size of my 5 or 6 year olds hands. Ran into one here at the office and one in our barracks.
Tidbits from my wife in Germany:
My youngest son, Kyle (5), fell from the top of a ten foot slide. He fell off backwards and landed on his back. She said he cried for about thrity second until the Candy man came around the corner with his truck. Then my son stopped crying, jumped up and started to run after the candy man. About a week after that the same son was at school at recess when he went up to his teacher screaming hysterically. His teacher lifted his shirt to see his back all bloody. Some other kid in another class, they don't know who, came up behind Kyle and pushed him down. Causing him to practically skin his whole back. Kyle said he never even saw who did it. Greg is doing good in baseball, I am not really sure about any of the details of that. I have to find out from my wife later. I talked to my mom and she is doing real good. My dad is working with a new company but he hasn't even really gone in yet. He has gone to get work and bring it home but not to actually work at the company yet. He was starting the job when they found out about my mothers cancer. His new company, who he hasn't even actually started to go into to work, gave him the time off to help take care of my mother. They even sent a huge boquette of flowers to my parents house for my mother. That sounds like a real family oriented company. It sounds like it is going to be a good place to work. Nothing really exciting going on here with me though but I guess being here, thats a good thing.
