• Jon and I will hit the 7 year mark this October. We recently spent two weeks without internet and annoyed the shit out of each other the entire time. It’s amazing that we didn’t kill each other without the ‘net to distract us from each other. The flipside is that we do still love each other, and are committed to spending the rest of our lives together.
• He starts a new job this coming week and is currently on a mini-vacation. The new job is a stay-at-home one w/ great hours and great pay. We hope it’s not a scam, but from what we can tell, it’s legit. I hope it works out.
• The internet. *sigh* Some countries declare it as a basic human right, and really, you never realize how dependent on it you are. There’s a looooong, complicated story here, but we were without the internet for two weeks. We received extraordinarily shitty tech support from our previous provider, were told a huge lie by a prospective provider (AT&T), and eventually settled on Clear WiMax service. Hopefully this works out well.
• Recently made my 1 year anniversary at my job. It’s been… fun. I work for peanuts, but I did get a small raise. After some of the public ass-beatings I took, the raise and all these public praises are a change.
