When he heard the familiar purr of the bike, he looked up, trying to keep from showing too much hope on his face. Ken was coming back, but that didn't necessarily mean anything, in terms of their relationship. Things might simply return to the way they'd been before.

"Yeah," he said, looking up at Ken and managing a smile of his own. "Welcome home."

"Water'd be great. I've been driving a while and I haven't had a lot of time to stop."

He gave the other boy a small, nervous smile as he passed him the drink, hugging himself. "I'm glad you made it."

Ken was one of the only people he'd accept a drink from without testing it. The feeling was mutual.

He hated the discomfort between them but he wasn't sure how to fix it. So much had happened between them that he was worried that Omi would never think the same of him.
"So do you like it here?"

"It's okay. A little quiet."

He made himself comfortable by leaning nearby, just getting used to being around Omi once again. Sure enough, the butterflies in his stomach hadn't settled all that much and that told him that no matter the time or distance, he still had feelings for the other.
