Take Back the Night on Thursday May 19th!
Take A Stand Against Sexual Violence!!!!!
Join the WSU community as we "TAKE BACK THE NIGHT"!!! This march to empower women will begin at 8pm in the Forest Lane Community Center. Although the march itself is a "women only space", men can support the cause by participating in a Men's Discussion during the march. The discussion will highlight challenging cultural norms on sexual assault. Following the march and men's discussion, we will all join on the Quad for a Speak Out and Candlelight Vigil.
If you want to hear some local talent and support a great cause, come early to the Artemis Center Benefit Concert beginning at 5pm in the Student Union Rathskeller. Tickets are only $5 and all proceeds will go to combat domestic violence!
Free Refreshments will be served at all events.
Both events are sponsored by WSU's Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Feminist Majority.
