Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank Deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!!!! Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today. To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train. To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident. To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics. Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time. And remember that time waits for no one. Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their heart to us. Show your friends how much you care.....Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called, The present.
Not too much going on lately. Work is work...something I do all the time. It's been kind of nice, I've been lucky enough to have a smaller amount than usual of hours. So, it's been relaxing. Last Sunday James and Melissa came over and we played DDR for hours, then watched a movie...that was awesome! My mom was in Las Vegas from Saturday morning til tonight. I'm glad she's home. I DO NOT like being in charge of everything that goes on in this house...it sucked. But yeah, Monday I talked my dad into buying PS2 and then I bought DDR for my sis and I, so that's what I've been doing with my free time. My sister's spring band concert was tonight, so I thought I should go since I haven't the entire time she's been in band :\ Melissa came too, then we went to Big Boys for dinner...all I'm going to say is OMG! After that we came back here and Mel and I tried to make my fish become more active, but we decided that they're gay because they wouldn't flare for us. Then we played DDR for a couple of hours. Of course she kicked my ass, but what else is new. I will get better and then we'll see.......hah, right. Now, I'm just talking to Melissa and getting ready to go watch White Noise, probably going to scare the crap out of me and I won't sleep, but oh well. I have to work all day tomorrow, so I do need as much sleep as I can get.
Alright, I'm outta here!
