Happiness is a sent off essay

Well it is official folks, the last assignment of the semester has been handed in and it feels goooooood ;)

*dances the dance of smug student satisfaction*

Ahh the memories.

There was the usual procrastination, gnashing of teeth and wailing. Who could forget the wild promises  of, ' next semester I promise to have all my assignments in by week one if only a miracle would happen NOW so I can get this assignment due in 4 hours done.' There is also the world's crappiest diet as during my two weeks of assignment maddness I lived on twisties and pepsi max.

I also got alot of screenshots done in the period because 1) I would have TW or DW on the laptop playing in the background and 2) would actually get distracted (shock horror) into watching it and thinking, "While I'm here I'll just collect a few screenshots."
I now have a most hated song playlist in itunes as the list I made to motivate me into doing my assignment is now associated with bad memories of yelling at my laptop and curling into a foetal ball at my lowest moments ( well maybe that is an exaggeration but you get the idea...)

The last minute stress of printing, realising my printer was having a brain spasm and printing nice black lines through all my work when I had 10 mins to get to the post office to send it off.

The mad sprint to the post office (Lucky it is a 5 minute walk away)

The euphoria of having it in an envelope and out of my hands.

The blissful feeing of achievement walking home. The sky seemed bluer, the grass was greener and fuck...is that coffee I can smell???? A slight detour and 5 minutes later I am walking back home with a soy latte in hand.

you know, I think it's all worth it just for that half hour of absolute bliss. Now for two months of freedom before it all starts again.

and I really do promise to have all my assignments done by week one. Really.
