I don't know if you meant it this way, but I laughed! It was unexpected and a very abrupt halt to everything. Over all I found your entire fic a wonderful balance of cute, humorous, and seriousness.
But seriously that ending surprised me. Just when Chen turned human too T__T

That witch has awful timing, I gotta say. (What size was the fireball, though? A giant freakin' boulder or bitty pebble do different amounts of damage. They could totally ignore it until the whole place started on fire
