Things are shaping up
Jobs wot I have applied for today:
* HR Generalist at the hospital in my town
* Affirmative Action Compliance Officer in the next county
* Enrollment Counselor at a college for adults
I really think I could be good at all of them if given the chance. It would help if my degree wasn't in accounting, or if I actually wanted to be an accountant. I also found out that the job of my hear that I wanted so very much is still open. I emailed the lady I spoke to before about it to let her know that I am still interested. I never found out why they rejected me in the first place, and hey, it's worth a shot.
So, I'm guessing Northern Downpour isn't doing any kind of presale for the Blink-182 tour? ETA: Just got an email saying they are. prettykitty_aya and I are planning on making the Chicago date which from what I've seen on my friendslist is pretty much going to be a fangirl convention. We're also looking at Kansas City and Dallas, although Dallas is on a Wednesday, so...
Reading bexless's latest story made me want it to be bandom big bang time now. I love long fic. It also made me realize just how little My Chem fic I've read lately. It seems like all I read is Panic fic anymore. Is there a lack of good My Chem fic or have I just been blinded by the Discos? If you've read something good, let me know about it.
Oh, the contract is up on my cell phone so I can get a new one soon. What kind of phone do you guys recommend? I was originally thinking an iPhone, but I've heard they can really suck, so I'm open to whatever.
