WELL OKAY now that LJ is working again

This has been a relatively good week! It felt like I did things. Enough to call for a list!

-It took me 8 days to finish A Dance With Dragons, and though I was underwhelmed in comparison to the huge wait, in the end I was pretty happy with it

How was Dance With Dragons? I work at a library so I'm still waiting on our copy to finish processing. It focuses on everyone not in Feast of Crows, right?

Yes, mostly--The first half of the book is all about those we haven't seen in a while, but about halfway in we start getting glimpses of the guys from Feast of Crows, too. It's a good book, though at times I felt like there was a bit of filler, with unnecessary chapters here and there.

Certainly. It was just sort of interesting to have so many moments of "UGH not this guy again!" and spend more time mentally tapping my foot in impatience... but still overall having it come to a positive experience in the end. That man certainly knows how to jerk you around.

There are a couple plot twists as-per-required, though I think the one most fans will be up in arms about is one that I'm perfectly okay with.
