Five Good Things
1. My idiot sister goes back to college tomorrow (and will hopefully stay the fuck put so I can have regular access to the new car...)
2. I've lost enough weight to be able to fit into my grandmother's 1960s cheongsam (thanks, in no small part, to the Grief Diet)
3. I finally got a third job at a live theater... which might pay off later, if I can get a part in one of the upcoming productions (the electrician, house manager and artistic director can and do...)
4. I had two wonderful Rosh Hashanah dinners--with Jasper on Wednesday and with my family earlier today
5. I managed to avoid jury duty today, and have tomorrow off
...which is great, because, after working at the Grand Lake's 9/11 Truth film festival on Thursday, I'm completely wiped out. I'm so done with the political bullshit, I'm cutting myself off from every source of it that I can. All day. No TV, no newspapers, no internet reports--maybe even no internet, period. Think of it as willful hermitude. If anyone needs me, I'll just be in my internet happy box.
