[[ooc: whaha a girl is here. and a very superstitious asian girl]]

Lam Gek noticed the boy waiting in front of Yong Soo's room.

'Good evening...' she said politely. And went on to shout in a very impolite tone. 'Yong Soo what was it you wanted to me to go with you for at this time of the night??!!

Almost having himself lost to daydreaming, Satria woke up after hearing the girl greeted him. Huh? A girl? At this time of a night?
"G-good evening? You know Yon--", have not finished his word, he's startled hearing the girl shouted toward Yong Soo's room. Oh dear, what is actually going on? She seemed to be a soft and polite girl..

"..Um, You're invited by Yong Soo?"

Yong Soo had been waiting all night for Satria to come by but the boy hadn't shown up at all! Yong Soo had been careful to check the clock regularly... Satria was going to show up, right?

It was a little past one when Lam Gek's voice came from outside. He bolted out of bed, careful not to wake his roommate up, and creaked his door open slightly. It was so quiet, the snores from down the hall could be heard. Nonetheless, Yong Soo was determined to stay quiet so that this would be successful. After seeing Lam Gek and Satria behind her, he nodded and side stepped out into the hallway.

A polaroid dispensing camera was hanging by his neck. It was large, but in order to capture ghosts in the picture, it needed super strong Korean upgrades. He showed his invention off proudly. "This is it! If you take a picture and there's a ghost there, it'll capture it!"

'You called me here to... chase ghosts...? What a waste of time!'

Lam Gek tried to put on her most annoyed face. In truth, Lam Gek believed in ghosts as much as she believes there is air. And she is scared to death of them. Not that Yong Soo, or the other dark skinned boy has to know that, of course.

'Besides, normal cameras capture ghosts just fine don't they? You just put toys onto that normal Polaroid to upgrade it and make it look big and hi-tech.'

"You didn't have to come!" he pointed out, his grin both smug and teasing. Yong Soo wasn't the greatest people reader: he often confused his older sibling's annoyance as encouragement and viewed his other sibling's behavior as just... Well. There was no point in getting involved in personal matters. What was important about this moment was that Yong Soo had a breakthrough at reading a response correctly for once: that Lame Gek was both terrified and excited. He couldn't help but hype up his invention just a little. "It's not just high tech, this is the next generation in paranormal investigation! I should know, Korea invented it!"

Yong Soo laughed after that, realizing he had been a little too loud in voicing his excitement. How could he not? It was Friday the thirteenth, a special day in Western occult history. He'd learned about vampires from that small English boy and the thought of other strange creatures appearing on his film allowed the shivers to run up his spine.

Turning his head right and left, trying to assure himself that no one wakes up because of their loud voice (Satria randomly guessed maybe this is Yong Soo's Taiwanese sister he talked about before?), the boy just staring at Yong Soo and his sister, "Make it look hi-tech? Yong Soo, is the camera just normal camera?"

Realizing they're nearly arrived to the school, he finally realized that they still have things to pass before declaring that they've succeeded, the school's guard.. Getting caught by the guard is more terrifying for Satria than seeing a ghost..
"Uh, how are we going to sneak inside?"

"It's not!" Yong Soo said, puckering up his lips. Why was everybody so skeptical about Korean technology? It was the best! He rotated the camera in his hands, now a little concerned. Did it really not look like the amazing gadgets of Korea's leading inventors? Yong Soo soon pulled over the camera's strap over his neck and left things as was. It didn't matter how it looked or what people thought; once they saw it worked, they would have to believe. He wouldn't disappoint! "You just wait - I'll prove it works!"

Yong Soo folded his arms into a thinking position. They couldn't get to the library if the guard was in the way. "We could make a break for it," he suggested, but even that would seem to end in failure. The guard kept looking each way, there was no way all three could get past him at the same time. Yong Soo looked at Lam Gek and grinned. She was a girl, after all.

'Huh what...?'

Lam Gek felt the eyes of the two boys on her. What? You want me to... flirt with the guard so the two of you can sneak by?

She pouted. 'Well, you will owe me one then.'

She got up from the trio's hiding spot, walked up to the guard, timid and soft.

The guard noticed the petite girl walking towards the pool entrance. 'Hey there, girlie, what are you up to at this time of the night?'

'Ummm... my bag. With some of my spare clothes. I left them in the pool shower room. Ummm, may I go and get it?'

'That was careless' he chided her. 'Well, go get it. And watch out for the ghosts.'

Lam Gek had a sharp intake of air. Ghosts. Yong Soo, Satria, the two of you had better already be in there, and... be my shield when the ghosts... appear...

The moment Lam Gek spoke, Yong Soo rushed inside, pulling the Indonesia boy along with him. Those five seconds passed in an instant, but his pumping heart could have sworn it was a lifetime of exhilaration. Slumping down against the wall by the entrance doors, Yong Soo kept the enthralled laughter within the confines of his body regardless of how much he wanted to scream how badass they must have looked dashing in ( ... )
