The Student Council has decided that this week will be Spirit Week! Here are the list of days~
Monday: Opposite Sex Day
Tuesday: Pajama Day
Wednesday: Wacky Day
Thursday: Roman Day
Friday: Cupid Day
Students should be reminded to keep things tasteful or you will be asked to change outfits.
On Saturday 14th there will also be a Valentine's Day Dance. Students should be informed that it is a semi-formal dance in which the Student Council has decided that students must attend in groups of two (whether with a relative, friend, or lover). Each 'couple' should have one student in male clothes and the other in female clothes even if the 'couple' is same gender.
What is Spirit Week? This is normally a week celebrated in American schools to allow students a reason to dress crazy like. Here's a brief idea of what is expected.
Monday: Students are expected and allowed to dress in opposite gender clothes. Ie: a guy should dress up like a girl and vice versa.
Tuesday: Students are allowed to wear their sleepwear around school. Please be noted you should wear more than boxers.
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday is for whatever. Dress as Wacky as you want!
Thursday: Toga anyone? Or perhaps you enjoy the spears and helmets? Whichever, enjoy some Roman outfits.
Friday: Cupid Day. Students are running around in Cupid outfits shooting nerf arrows at different students. If you're hit you're expected to kiss the other student that is hit on the cheek (or more).
For the dance. Basically if you want to go you either go with someone you pick out or someone who is picked for you. One wears girl clothes, the other guys. And when we mean girl clothes, we mean skirts and the like. ;D You can split apart as soon as you enter if you want, but it is just for amusement factor.
