One year ago...
I had extremely long hair. Unkept and dry as heck due to construction work.
It was the first time in my life I saw the west coast all the way to the midwest. Like a dvd, I can pause, play, rewind the trip from Cali to Philly to Indi.
It was beautiful...
In a couple of hours it would have been a year to the minute when I first saw Sarah.
I got off the plane, past a few glass hallways and into the crowd, nerves conquering hunger. And then I saw her.
Have you ever had your vision focus on something that everything else blurs?
I saw her and everything else around melted. We held hands and walked into the parking lot.
Did you know that scent is more closely associated to memory than any other of the senses?
She wore a perfume, which she still has in stock.
The way her hair smells. She still uses the same shampoo/conditioner. The outfit she was wearing was a red shirt, jean jacket, pair of jeans, red shoes; apparently Claire helped her pick it up. ( kudos , btw!)
The Indiana sky is soo big. There's soo much space! And the clouds, I hadn't seen anything like it since Oz. GREEN!...NO BUMS!...and it doesn't smell like pee! I LOVE INDY!
A year ago...It won't be until the 4th of July that we started officially dating.

I can honestly say that without reservation. That with you I've experienced happyness without equal...
