Patriot Act for phone tapping
If I tap your phone arbitrarily, I go to jail for invasion of privacy. But if the government does it, it's okay, because you could be a potential connection to a terrorist regime or a sympathizer.
I need to meet someone who lives in Afghanistan or Iraq so I can start sending them unecrypted emails expressing my opinion on the Bush Administration uncensored and as brutal as possible, just to see if I get arrested for being a terrorist. I know I would be if I did, because the Administration is perfect and absolute, and anyone who opposes it is obviously a terrorist.
