In other news. Josh 'quit'. Though he really got fired. Yes. Cover ups do happen in the work place.
So so so much drama for a place filled with so much gamer skank and testorone. Its quite comical. In a really horrid way. That I don't understand.
At least that's what we were told by Matt, the 3rd, over the phone. Matt was told by Corey, the other manager that has been training for a store in Grants Pass. A store that it not going to happen anytime soon. I think Corey's intentions is to get all of the old people to quit or fire them so he can have a new crew by the holidays.
GameStop and EB Games merged a few months ago. I think this influenced Josh's termination.
Also 5 managers in Oregon have also been fired within the past 2 weeks.
According to Josh EB pays their managers a lot less than GameStop. In an on going effort to have the company's owners make more money its obvious they're decided to go with EB's pay cheque size.
So why deal with old managers protesting about a rather large pay? When you can just fire them and repalce them easily with new people who don't know anything about the old saleries.
Reason number two...
I honestly think that Corey had a hand in this. He can be rather manipulitive and two faced. I am sure he said somehting to Mike that sabotaged Josh.
Corey also talk crap about epople behind their backs.
Not Kosher.
Kellen and Sarah have already put in their two weeks, I am leaving in 4.
I asked Corey about getting more hours and he had this to say:
"I was going to give them to Kaden. He needs more training. Plus I want to butter him up a bit."
That. Is. Crap.
I worked Kaden today. He doesn't need anymore training. He is doing fine! He has worked there for 2 months. Besides retail isn't a job you can set up specific training sessions for. Training just happens.
It is all crap.
And I don't like it.
My transfer to the Eugene store is going to happen. Yay.
I move in a month.
